a difference.
I co-founded Study Advisor at 24, following my studies at KEDGE Business School in France. We set out to make academic and career guidance more accessible through direct conversations with students who had already taken the next step.
With my co-founders and our team, we built a community of more than 70,000 Advisors, supporting over 500,000 students each year. The platform grew into a profitable business before its acquisition by the L’Étudiant Group in 2022.

Sources & metric context
Education rankings: KEDGE’s Programme Grande École ranks 9th in Le Parisien Étudiant 2026, as reported by KEDGE. Le Wagon describes itself as the globally #1-ranked tech bootcamp, citing student-review platforms Course Report, Switchup and Career Karma. These describe current institutional rankings and published claims, not the rankings at the time of Maxime’s attendance.
Study Advisor community size, annual student reach, founder age, education and the seven-figure transaction size are historical founder-provided figures and background. Profitability was also described in the founder’s 2022 acquisition announcement. Public-launch year: 2017 company press release.
L’Étudiant revenue: €48M in 2023, including subsidiaries, as reported by Le Monde, December 17, 2024. The €45M+ headline is a rounded lower-bound presentation. This is the acquirer’s revenue, not Study Advisor’s revenue or the acquisition price.
Fair attendance and social audience: Comexposium’s 2025 L’Étudiant announcement. Events, countries and sectors: Comexposium’s group website, consulted October 2026. These acquirer and parent-group metrics describe their respective reporting periods, rather than their scale at the 2022 acquisition.
